Apply to join the HOAC Contingent "Come and be part of the 13th PanAmerican Scout Jamboree, the first of the second century of the scout movement, the Jamboree in which Scouting's Sunrise will light up the vast Mexican sky." That's the call from Scouts Mexico (Asociacion de Scouts de Mexico). And HOAC is going! The Jamboree will be held in Sierra Morelos National Park, just outside Toluca, Mexico's 4th largest city, which lies about 40 miles southwest of Mexico City. The program promises cultural activities from national contingents, entertainment and arts, technology and camping, and traditional Scouting activities like mountain biking, climbing, hiking, rafting, tours of the historic host city, and so much more. The Heart of America Council will sponsor a contingent to this major international Scouting event. And there's room for you! Scouts and adult leaders interested in this event should email their name, unit number, address, home phone and email address to the HOAC International Committee.
