“Every Scout Deserves a Trained Leader”

 

Every Youth Deserves a Trained Leader – one of the keys to a successful Scouting experience for young people is trained volunteer leadership.  Leadership training provides adult leaders with fundamental information about the aims and methods of the movement, as well as specifics about their particular roles in Scouting.

Youth Protection

  • Youth Protection will be offered at every Roundtable, on the first Thursday of every month at Church of the Resurrection. National requirements now state that all new adult leaders must complete Youth Protection before registering with the Boy Scouts of America. The completed certificate must accompany the application in order to be processed. For all current leaders, Youth Protection must be renewed every 2 years to stay registered.

 Merit Badge Counselor Training

  • Merit Badge Counselor Training is offered each month at Roundtable on the first Thursday at Church of the Resurrection (137th & Roe, east building, lower level) at 7pm.  No pre-registration is required.  Please bring your youth protection certificate with you.
