Volunteer Training
Training is an important part of learning to become an effective leader. The important scouting position you hold will be easier and more effective once you develop the skills necessary to deliver a quality scouting program every Cub Scout, Boy Scout and Venturer desires. Every youth member of Scouting deserves a Trained Leader.
For 2009 the Heart of America Council has reqired all Cubmasters, Scoutmasters, and Venture Crew Advisers be trained. This year it is the goal of the Heart of America Council to see that all of the Direct Contact Leaders be trained. Those are the Leaders that interact directly with the youth (Den Leaders, Asst. Scoutmasters, and Asst. Venture Crew Advisors). Below is information to get your leaders trained in our area.
