Excitement, fun and adventure await HOAC Scouts who attend this outstanding and historic Scouting opportunity. The 100th Anniversary National Scout Jamboree promises a celebration of all that Scouting has been, and all that Scouting will be in the future. The Heart of America Council will send a contingent of 144 Scouts and 16 leaders from our council to Scouting's milestone anniversary event in the summer of 2010.

YOU COULD BE ONE OF THEM!

Open the door to a fabulous Scouting journey with thousands of other Scouts from across the nation and from around the world. The Heart of America Council's jamboree plans include tours of several historic sites in the Eastern United States en route to the Jamboree, plus a tour of Washington, D.C.

Applications for both Scouts and adult leaders are now available
through the national Scouting website < http://www.MyScouting.org >. Send in your application to be part of HOAC's Jamboree Contingent. Parents should complete the application process for younger Scouts. Applicants will need to create a "My Scouting" account, which requires a login and password, plus the Scouting ID number from the applicant's membership card. More information is available on HOAC's Jamboree FAQs web page. Staff applications are also available at the same website.
